There has been a selection procedure announced by Ministry of Health of Czech Republic in the first half of this year for new operators of Air rescue service for 8 following years covering 8 bases. Our company has participated in this selection procedure together with company from Brno called Alfa-Helicopters. We have won this contract for providing the Air Rescue Service and the contract was signed on 23rd October 2008. Our company will continue to cover the bases in Liberec, Ústí nad Labem and Ostrava and newly we will be operating in Hradec Králové. The flight department and the maintenance center are now intensively focusing on preparing the necessary documentation and preparing the helicopter EC135 to be able to begin the operation on new base.
