9th April 2009 / The highest type of maintenance on AS355 F2

The helicopter’s maintenance centre is in the middle of the highest type of maintenance which could be performed on helicopter AS355 F2 (registration OK-BIC) – this type of maintenance is done after 5.000 hours or after 12 years of operation.
This type of maintenance is the highest form of maintenance which can be carried outside the manufacturer’s facilities. The helicopter is nearly completely dissembled and all parts and components are put through deep controls, measurements and if needed they are exchanged. When the revision is done, the helicopter will be painted. It will also be done by our maintenance centre.
