Primary flight/HEMS flight (primary operation to an external location, the take off is indicated by EMS's operator upon the request of the land crew from our medical rescue service centre - e.g. responding to a traffic accident upon the request of the local EMS or transport of a person suffering from an acute myocardial infarction which is indicated by the land crew).

Urgent secondary flight/HEMS flight (urgent transport of ill or injured person from a health care facility to a different department; the patient is taken straight from the health care facility or transported to the helicopter by EMS land crew on the request of the health care facility, e.g. the acute myocardial infarction to the PTCA ward if the patient is at the medical or inpatient ward of the hospital already)
